FAQHow much does a website cost for a small business? +
£249.99 to design and build it. After that a sole trader pays £49.99 a month, a small business with staff £89.99 a month, and a site that needs a shop or bookings from £200 a month. That covers hosting, changes, updates and support, and there is no minimum term.
Why is it only £249.99 to build? +
Because there is no agency behind it. No premises, no sales team and no project manager, and layouts that already work on live sites get reused, so the build takes days rather than weeks. The words are written fresh for your business every time.
Will my website actually show up on Google? +
Nobody can promise a position on Google, and anyone who does is guessing. What I can show you is that, in Google Search Console, the sites I have built show on page one for 103 searches between them, such as “exterior decorating”, “hiab transport cornwall” and “bespoke storage cornwall”. Every site is built around the services and towns you want work from.
How long does it take to build? +
Usually one to two weeks from the point your content is with me. You see it before it goes live and one round of changes is included.
Do I own the website and the domain? +
Yes. Two domains are bought for you and registered in your name, the .com and the .co.uk, and the accounts are yours. You are never locked out of your own website.
What if I already have a website? +
Most of the work I do is replacing a site that is out of date, slow, or was built on a template and never brought any work in. Your words, photos and logo are the hard part and I will use all of them.
Do I need to know anything technical? +
No. You send me what your business does and I do the rest, including the domain, the hosting and the Google setup. When you want something changed after launch you message me and I change it.
Can I cancel the monthly? +
Yes, whenever you like. Send me one message, by email or WhatsApp, and the plan stops at the end of that month. There is no minimum term, no cancellation form to hunt for and no one trying to change your mind. The domains are in your name, so you keep them, and the Direct Debit Guarantee means you can always cancel with your bank too.
What is the free Google visibility check? +
You tell me your trade and your town. I check where your business shows up on Google today for the searches your customers actually type, look at who sits above you and what they are doing differently, and send it back in plain words within two working days. It costs nothing and you can do what you like with it.
