Payments

Paying Website Builds.

Payments are authorised securely on GoCardless. Website Builds never receives or stores your online-banking credentials.

Before you pay for project work: only make a booking payment after you have received and accepted a written scope. Final and milestone payments are made when we request them, not in advance. If you are unsure which item to pay, ask first.

How payment works

  • You pay Website Builds. Payments are authorised on GoCardless’s own hosted pages, which display the Direct Debit Guarantee and any required payer notices.
  • Website Builds does not receive or store your online-banking credentials, and never asks for them by email, phone or through this website.
  • The £599 Focused Launch price is paid in two halves: £299.50 as the booking payment and £299.50 before launch.
  • Care plans are monthly services, not hosting. Third-party charges — hosting, domains, email, paid apps and message providers — are separate and paid directly by you.
  • Google services cover the stated checks and submission work. Google controls crawling and indexing, so indexing and rankings cannot be guaranteed.
  • Website Builds is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not currently added.

Business Website or Online Shop

These projects are quoted against their own scope, and payments are staged across booking, design approval and launch. We raise a payment request that matches your accepted quote rather than publishing a generic checkout button.

Start a monthly care plan

Care plans run monthly. A bank payment scheme has its own processing and notice periods, so the first collection is not instant — GoCardless confirms the dates when you set the plan up.

Fixed-scope services

Google visibility services

Each of these has a fixed scope and a fixed price. Payment covers the stated checks and submission work. Submission can be completed quickly once all access and information are supplied, but Google controls crawling and indexing — indexing and rankings cannot be guaranteed, and no restricted Google indexing API is used for ordinary business pages.
