How to ask
Email hello@website-builds.com or use the contact form and say which plan you are on and whether you want to change it or stop it. A request in writing gives us both a record.
Two separate things
Your Direct Debit mandate and your service agreement are not the same thing. Cancelling the mandate through your bank or GoCardless stops future collections, but it does not by itself settle any amount already due, or any notice period agreed in your service terms. Tell us as well, so we can close the plan properly and confirm where you stand.
Your Direct Debit rights
Direct Debits in the UK are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee, which is provided by your bank or building society and shown to you by GoCardless when you set up a payment. Website Builds does not alter or restate those protections.
What stops, and when
When a plan ends, the monthly allowance and monitoring stop. Your website, domain, hosting and any third-party services are unaffected — those are separate and remain yours. We will confirm the last covered month in writing.
