A 264-page flooring brochure with a working quantity calculator, built for a one-man supply-and-fit business.
What they needed
Chris supplies and fits flooring across mid and west Cornwall and was about to open a small showroom. He needed a site that could present a full manufacturer range at a level that matched the product, without publishing a single price.
What we built
- A browsable catalogue of 222 floors across six ranges, each with its own page, specification table and room photography.
- A flooring calculator that takes room sizes in metres or feet, applies a wastage allowance and returns the exact number of packs to order.
- Fourteen town pages written around the real subfloor conditions found in each area, rather than the same paragraph with the place name swapped.
- Five long-form guides covering room choice, subfloor preparation, herringbone, LVT against laminate, and floor care.
- Structured data for the business, every service and every product, plus a generated sitemap that cannot drift from the content.
The calculator uses real pack sizes
Every floor carries the coverage its manufacturer publishes, verified against the supplier's own product pages. Get that number wrong by a fraction and a customer orders ten packs too many.
