Websites for electricians
Certification is the product. A site that cannot prove yours is competing on price alone.
Electrical work is bought on competence more than any other trade, because the customer cannot inspect the result and knows it. Landlords need certificates on a schedule, homeowners want an EV charger fitted without burning the house down, and commercial clients have compliance deadlines.
That makes the website's job unusually specific: prove qualification quickly, then make the particular job the visitor came for easy to find. An EV charger enquiry and a landlord EICR enquiry are different customers with different urgency.
What your customers want answered
- Which scheme are you registered with, NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA, and can I verify it
- Do you issue the certificate I actually need, EICR, EIC or minor works
- Do you do EV charger installation, and are you approved for the grant schemes
- How quickly can you get to a landlord deadline
- Are you insured, and for how much
Name the certificate, not just the serviceA landlord searching for an EICR is searching for those four letters. A page that says 'electrical testing' will lose to one that says EICR, explains what it covers and what it costs.
One page called Services
Rewiring, EV chargers, fuse board upgrades, landlord certificates and fault finding are five different searches with five different buyers. Collapsing them into one page means ranking for none of them.

One message is enough to start. I’ll read it and reply myself, usually with a couple of questions and a clear price.
