Web design in Middlesbrough

Process industry buyers need to see safety record and technical competence immediately — not after three pages of general marketing copy.

The order information appears in matters as much as whether it is there at all, and most local industrial sites have it exactly backwards.

Selling to Middlesbrough

Worth knowing hereProcess industry buyers need to see safety record and technical competence immediately, not after three pages of general marketing copy.

Put the qualifying information first

A buyer on a chemical or process site is assessing whether you can be allowed on it. Safety record, permits and certifications, competence and relevant site experience come before any description of the company.

A page that opens with a paragraph about values and history wastes the attention of exactly the person you need, who will move on rather than scroll.

The about page still has a place. It is simply not where the buyer starts.

Site experience is the evidence

Naming the kinds of plant you have worked on, the environments you are qualified for and the standards you work to tells a buyer their situation is familiar to you.

Where confidentiality prevents naming clients, describing the type and scale of the site does the job almost as well.

A digital cluster and a university

Middlesbrough's growing digital sector and student population operate in an entirely different way from the process industries.

Questions people here ask

What should come first on the page?
Safety record, certifications, competence and site experience. A buyer assessing whether you can be allowed on site starts there.
Where does company background belong?
Further down, or on its own page. It is not what the qualifying reader is looking for and it costs you their attention.
What if we cannot name clients?
Describe the type and scale of site instead. That tells a buyer the environment is familiar without breaching confidentiality.
