Websites for hypnotherapists

Clients arrive sceptical and curious. Demystify it and keep the claims defensible.

Most people considering hypnotherapy have an image drawn from stage hypnosis and are quietly worried about losing control or being made to do something ridiculous.

Dispelling that is the first job of the website. The second is making claims that survive scrutiny, in a field where the advertising rules are applied strictly and complaints are common.

What your customers want answered

  1. What does it actually feel like, and will I be in control
  2. What do you help with
  3. How many sessions will I need and what does it cost
  4. Does it work, and what happens if it does not
  5. What are your qualifications and are you on a register

Describe the experience honestlyExplaining that clients remain aware, cannot be made to act against their will, and usually describe it as deep relaxation removes the main obstacle. It is more persuasive than testimonials because it answers the specific fear people are too embarrassed to ask about.

Claims to cure

Hypnotherapy is not statutorily regulated, which makes advertising claims the main compliance risk rather than registration. Claims to treat or cure medical conditions are routinely upheld against practitioners, and careful wording is both safer and more credible.

Tell me about your business.

One message is enough to start. I’ll read it and reply myself, usually with a couple of questions and a clear price.
