Websites for gyms and personal trainers
People join in January and leave in March. The site should sell the first visit, not the year.
Fitness buyers are nervous. The barrier is rarely price, it is walking through the door for the first time and not knowing what to do or who will be watching.
That makes the first visit the thing to sell. A trial session, a class taster, a look round with no pressure. Selling a twelve-month membership to somebody who has not been inside is asking for the decision they are least ready to make.
What your customers want answered
- What actually happens on my first visit
- What does it cost, and can I cancel
- When are the classes, and are they for beginners
- Is there parking, are there showers, is it busy at six
- Who are the trainers and what are they qualified in
Photographs of the actual gym, quietPeople want to see the room they will be walking into. Real photographs of your floor, empty and well lit, reduce the anxiety that stops the first visit.
A timetable as a PDF or an image
Class timetables change weekly and are the most visited thing on a gym site. As a picture they cannot be read on a phone, cannot be searched and go stale immediately.
Tell me about your business.
One message is enough to start. I’ll read it and reply myself, usually with a couple of questions and a clear price.
