Websites for aerial and satellite firms
Same-day fixes and small jobs. Publishing prices removes the only obstacle.
This is a trade of small, urgent jobs: a picture that has broken up since the storm, a new television with nowhere to plug an aerial in, a flat that needs a dish. Customers want it sorted this week and expect it to cost under a couple of hundred pounds.
Because the jobs are small, anything that adds friction to the enquiry kills it. People will not ring for a quote on a job they think should have a price.
What your customers want answered
- How much for a standard aerial or dish fit
- Can you come out this week
- Can you fix reception rather than replace everything
- Do you do extra points to other rooms
- Can you work at height on a house like mine
A price list, plainlyStandard installation, replacement, extra point, communal system fault. Publishing typical prices for the handful of jobs that make up most of the work converts enquiries that would otherwise go to whoever answered first, and it filters out the jobs you do not want.
Selling replacement when repair would do
Reception faults are frequently a corroded connector, a cracked cable or a misaligned aerial. Saying you diagnose before quoting is unusual in this trade and earns trust immediately.

One message is enough to start. I’ll read it and reply myself, usually with a couple of questions and a clear price.
