Websites for acupuncturists
Needle anxiety is the obstacle. Address it before anything else.
The single largest barrier to booking acupuncture is a fear of needles, held by people who have usually only experienced injections. They imagine something quite unlike what actually happens.
Explaining the size of the needles, what insertion feels like and how many are used removes more hesitation than any explanation of the treatment's philosophy.
What your customers want answered
- Does it hurt, and how big are the needles
- What do you treat, and is there evidence
- What does a session cost and how many will I need
- Is it safe and are the needles single use
- What qualifications and registration do you have
Explain the needles honestlyAcupuncture needles are far finer than a hypodermic, single use and sterile, and insertion is usually felt as a dull ache rather than a sharp pain. Saying so directly, without overclaiming, converts the nervous majority who would otherwise never book.
Claiming treatment for conditions without evidence
Acupuncture is not a statutorily regulated profession, but the advertising rules apply regardless, and claims are actively challenged. Careful language about what is supported, and what is not, protects you and reads as more honest.

One message is enough to start. I’ll read it and reply myself, usually with a couple of questions and a clear price.
