Keeping a good website useful after launch, which is where most of them quietly stop being useful.
Websites decay. Not dramatically, just steadily. Prices go out of date, an opening time changes, a plugin stops being maintained, a form silently stops delivering and nobody notices for two months because nobody was watching.
Maintenance is mostly about noticing. Checking the site is up, the forms arrive, the software is current and the content still says what is true. None of it is exciting and all of it is the difference between a website that keeps earning and one that quietly stops.
Launch Care at £49.99 a month covers that for sites we build. It also covers the content changes you will actually want, so a price update or a new photograph does not require a quote.
How the work runs
- Baseline. We record how the site performs and what is installed, so changes can be judged against something.
- Monitor. Uptime and form delivery are watched continuously rather than checked when someone remembers.
- Maintain. Updates applied, content changed as you ask, faults fixed as they appear.
- Report. A short monthly note of what was done. If nothing needed doing, it says that instead of inventing work.

- What does it cost?
- Launch Care is £49.99 a month and comes with every site we build, alongside the £249 build price. It is billed at the end of each calendar month for the month just gone, so there is no payment up front.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, at the end of any month. Because it is billed in arrears you are never paying for time you have not had.
- What if I need more than the plan covers?
- Larger pieces of work are quoted separately and agreed before anything is charged. You will not find extra hours on an invoice you did not approve.
- Do you maintain sites you did not build?
- Sometimes, but only after looking at one. Maintenance on somebody else’s build is quoted against the state we find it in rather than a standard rate, because the work varies enormously. We will review it and tell you honestly whether it is worth maintaining.
