This is the part that only becomes visible when it goes wrong, usually at the worst moment. A domain that expires because the renewal went to an address nobody reads. A website nobody can update because the previous developer holds the account.
We set these up in your name wherever possible. It is slightly more work at the start and it means you are never dependent on us to keep your own business online.
Email deserves particular care. Business email that lands in spam because the sending records were never configured properly is a quiet, ongoing cost that most owners never trace back to its cause.
How the work runs
- Audit what exists. Who owns the domain, where DNS is managed, where mail is handled. This is often the first time it has been written down.
- Put ownership right. Accounts moved into your name where they are not already, before anything else changes.
- Configure properly. DNS, certificates and mail authentication set up so the site loads securely and your email is trusted.
- Document it. You get a plain-English record of what is where and how to get into it.

- Who owns my domain?
- You should, always. If a previous developer registered it in their own name, getting that corrected is worth doing before anything else, because everything else depends on it.
- Why is my email going to spam?
- Almost always because SPF, DKIM and DMARC are missing or wrong. They tell receiving servers your mail is genuinely from you. It is a small job with a large effect.
- Do I have to host with you?
- No. If you are happy where you are and it performs, we will work with it and say so. We would rather not move something that is working.
- What happens if I stop working with you?
- You keep everything. The accounts are yours, the domain is yours, and we hand over access without argument.
