Websites for live-in care providers
You are competing with a care home. Make that comparison explicitly.
Families considering live-in care are almost always weighing it against a care home, and they assume it will be far more expensive. Frequently it is comparable, particularly for a couple.
Making that comparison openly, with figures, is the single most effective thing a live-in provider can publish, because the alternative is being dismissed before anybody enquires.
What your customers want answered
- What does it cost a week compared with a care home
- Where does the carer sleep and what do we provide
- What happens on their days off and at night
- How are carers matched to the person
- What if it does not work out with a particular carer
Compare the cost honestly, including for couplesCare home fees are generally per person, while live-in care covers a household. For a couple that comparison changes completely, and setting it out plainly reaches families who had ruled the option out on a guess.
Avoiding the practical awkwardness
Families worry about a stranger living in the house, what happens to privacy and what the carer eats. Addressing those directly is far more reassuring than avoiding them.
