Websites for courier companies
Same-day work is urgent and price-checked. Quote instantly or lose it.
Same-day courier work is called in when something has gone wrong: a part is needed on site, a document has to be signed today, a delivery was missed. The customer is under pressure and ringing several firms.
The one that quotes a price and a collection time in the first conversation usually gets it. Everything on the website should be built to make that happen faster.
What your customers want answered
- How quickly can you collect, and when would it arrive
- What does it cost for this distance and this size of item
- Do you carry fragile, valuable or unusual items
- Am I covered if it is damaged or lost
- Can I track it and get proof of delivery
Be explicit about goods in transit coverBusiness customers sending anything valuable need to know the limit of your cover before they book, and many courier sites never state it. Publishing the figure, and what is excluded, wins commercial accounts from firms that leave it to the small print.
Competing with the parcel networks
On price for a standard parcel, you cannot. Dedicated vehicles, direct delivery, awkward items and same-day urgency are the market where a local courier wins, and the site should say so.
Other sectors we build for
Tell me about your business.
One message is enough to start. I’ll read it and reply myself, usually with a couple of questions and a clear price.
