Websites for mobile mechanics

You sell not having to go anywhere. Be explicit about what you can do on a driveway.

The entire proposition is that the customer does not have to get the car to a garage, which matters most when the car will not start at all. That is also the job that has to be qualified carefully.

Customers do not know what can be done at the roadside and what genuinely needs a ramp. Being clear about the boundary saves wasted call-outs and builds trust with people who have been let down by somebody who turned up and said they could not help.

What your customers want answered

  1. What can you actually do at my house or roadside
  2. What is the call-out charge and is it deducted from the work
  3. Do you carry parts, or is that a second visit
  4. How soon can you get to me
  5. Can you do servicing and diagnostics as well as breakdowns

A clear list of what needs a workshopClutches, cambelts on some engines, anything needing the car in the air or specialist equipment. Saying so in advance prevents the wasted visit that costs you money and costs the customer a day, and it makes everything you do offer more credible.

No coverage radius

Customers cannot tell whether you come to them, and will not ring to find out. Naming the towns and postcodes you cover, and any distance charge, is the most important information on the site.

Tell me about your business.

One message is enough to start. I’ll read it and reply myself, usually with a couple of questions and a clear price.
