Websites for celebrants

Two very different bookings — funerals within days, weddings within years.

A celebrant's funeral work is booked through funeral directors, usually within a day or two, and is about availability and trust. Wedding work is booked by couples up to two years ahead and is about personality and style.

They are almost entirely separate businesses sharing one person, and a single blended page serves both badly.

What your customers want answered

  1. Are you available on our date
  2. What do you charge, and what does that include
  3. How many times will we meet beforehand
  4. Can the ceremony be religious, non-religious, or a mix
  5. For weddings: do we still need a registrar for the legal part

Be clear about the legal positionA celebrant-led wedding ceremony is not in itself the legal marriage in England and Wales, and couples need to know they must also complete the legal formalities separately. Explaining this plainly prevents a serious misunderstanding and marks you as someone who knows their field.

Mixing funeral and wedding content

A bereaved family and an engaged couple should not land on the same page. Separate routes, with entirely different tone, serve both properly.

Tell me about your business.

One message is enough to start. I’ll read it and reply myself, usually with a couple of questions and a clear price.
