Websites for scaffolders

You are selling safety and availability. Both belong on the page in specifics.

Scaffolding is bought under time pressure by builders who need it up before the next trade arrives, and by homeowners who have been told they cannot start without it. Neither wants a brochure.

It is also a trade where the buyer carries real liability. A contractor choosing a scaffolder is choosing who to trust with a structure that has to be safe, compliant and inspected, which makes evidence more persuasive than presentation.

What your customers want answered

  1. How quickly can you get it up
  2. What does the hire period cost, and what happens if the job overruns
  3. Is the design standard, or does it need drawings
  4. Are your scaffolders carded, and who does the handover and inspections
  5. Do you cover my area, and is there a charge for adaptations

Cards, inspections and paperwork, namedSaying that your operatives hold current CISRS cards, that standard scaffolds are erected to the recognised compliance guidance and non-standard ones are designed, and that every scaffold is handed over with a tag and inspected at the required intervals, tells a contractor their own file will be in order. That is the actual purchase.

Hiding the hire terms

The commonest complaint in this trade is a bill for extra weeks nobody expected. Publishing how the hire period works, and what an overrun costs, wins more work than it loses and prevents most disputes.

Tell me about your business.

One message is enough to start. I’ll read it and reply myself, usually with a couple of questions and a clear price.
