What they needed

Benno had a business card, a flyer and two photographs of a deck he had built, and no website at all. He works everywhere from Bude to St Just, so the site had to make sense to someone searching in any of forty towns, without a word of it being copied from one page to the next.

What we built

1. Forty-one town pages, each written on its own: where the town is, what its housing and gardens are like, and the three jobs people there ask for most, with the real postcode districts on every page.
2. Seven service pages for decking, fencing, patios, bespoke garden furniture, painting and decorating, gardening and home repairs, each with its own questions and answers marked up for Google.
3. A 24/7 emergency page, an A-to-Z of forty-four named handyman jobs, and three plain guides on what Cornish weather does to fences, decks and holiday lets.
4. A contact page where the customer ticks the jobs they need and the message writes itself, with a fixed call bar on phones.
5. Every fact taken from his card and flyer only: phone, email, services, fully insured, residential and commercial. Nothing invented, no stock reviews.
