How the conversation usually goes
Read down the page. Your side is on the left and mine is on the right, in the order it actually happens — whether you email or use the form.

- You send whatever you have. One sentence is a perfectly good first message. The address at the top of this page and the form at the bottom arrive in the same inbox, so it makes no difference which one you use.
- Me
- I read it. Not a sales team, and no account manager assigned to you — the person reading your message is the person who would design and build the site. There is nobody else here for it to be passed to.
- Me
- I answer by email, in writing, with questions back if the project needs them. Everything stays in writing unless you would rather talk, in which case say so and we will arrange a time.
- You
- You reply, or you leave it there. Nothing up to this point has cost anything, booked anything or held you to anything.
- Me
- I confirm the scope in writing before any work starts, so what you are buying is settled before it is bought.
When you email, I am the one who reads it. When a contact form stops sending on a Sunday, I am the one who fixes it.
What sending a message does not do
The small print, written out in full, because it is short enough to write out in full.
- It does not book you onto a call. There is nobody here whose job is to get you onto one. If you would rather talk it through, say so and we will arrange a time.
- It does not commit you to spending anything. Choosing a package on the form is helpful, not binding. Scope is confirmed in writing before any work starts.
- It does not ask for anything up front. A site is £249 to build and then £49.99 a month to keep running. The monthly part is billed at the end of each calendar month, for the month just gone, so nothing is paid before the work is done.
- It does not need a polished brief. What the business does, where the current experience falls short and any timing that matters is enough to start with.
- It does not go anywhere else. Your details are used only to answer this enquiry.
